  1. By entering the Promotion, Entrants agree to be bound by these Conditions of Entry.

  2. The promoter is HIA Insurance Services Pty Ltd (ABN 84 076 460 967), an authorised representative no. 275925 of Aon Risk Services Australia Limited (ABN 17 000 434 720) of Level 33, 201 Kent Street, Sydney NSW 2000 Telephone (02) 9253 7000 (Promoter).

  3. The ‘Win $5,000 for your organisation 2020’ promotion (Promotion) commences at 8:30am AEDT on Wednesday 20 May 2020 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on Tuesday 30 June 2020 (Promotion Period).

  4. Entry into the Promotion is only open to Australian residents at the date of entry (Eligible Person). Employees of the Promoter, immediate family members of such employees, related companies of the Promoter and agencies associated with this Promotion, are ineligible to be Entrants.

  5. Eligible Persons may enter the Promotion during the Promotion Period by either purchasing a new insurance policy through HIA Insurance Services or by filling out the entry form at www.hiainsurance.com.au for existing HIA Insurance Services policy holders. HIA Insurance Services means HIA Insurance Services Pty Ltd ABN 84 076 460 967, authorised representative no. 275925 of Aon Risk Services Australia Limited ABN 17 000 434 720 AFSL no. 241141

  6. Only one Eligible Person is permitted to enter the Promotion per organisation. Entries are deemed to be received from Entrants at the time their insurance policy has been purchased or an existing policy holder completes the online form at www.hiainsurance.com.au. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay or other circumstance which causes an entry not to be received within the Promotion Period.

  7. Eligible Persons with an entry in the Promotion (Entrants) will go into the draw (Prize Draw) to win $5,000. The total prize pool value is AU$5,000.

  8. One entry will be selected at random from a pool of all entries complying with these Conditions of Entry. The winning entry will receive a cash prize of $5,000 (Prize) to be awarded to the business name in which the insurance policy is held (Winner).

  9. The Prize Draw will be conducted at Aon Tower, Level 33, 201 Kent St, Sydney NSW 2000 on Wednesday 8 July 2020 between 8:00am and 5:00pm AEST. The first valid entry drawn will receive $5,000 electronically transferred into a chosen business bank account.

  10. The Winner will be notified within 2 business days after the Prize Draw via email or phone (Notification). The Winner will be provided with details of how to claim their Prize and the date by which they must claim their Prize in the Notification. The Prize will only be distributed in Australia and the Winner should allow 28 days from the Prize Draw for delivery of the Prize.

  11. The Prize value is in Australian dollars and includes GST.

  12. If the Winner cannot be contacted by Notification or if a Prize is unclaimed or undeliverable, a redraw will be conducted one week after the initial Prize Draw and a new Winner will be drawn. This process will continue until the prize is claimed.

  13. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, loss revenue or profit) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or the taking of a Prize or any component of a Prize, including:
    • any additional costs associated with the taking of a Prize (excluding postage if required). Any expense incurred beyond the specified Prize will be the responsibility of the Winner; and
    • any loss of, damage to, disuse or expiry of the Prize.

  14. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Entrants and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or any Entrant who tampers with the entry process.

  15. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to fraud or causes beyond the control of the Promoter or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.

  16. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights under these terms and conditions at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

  17. All decisions of the Promoter are final and no discussions or correspondence with be entered into.

  18. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information in connection with the Promotion is governed by the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which can be accessed at http://www.aon.com.au/australia/legal/privacy-policy.jsp. An overview of this policy is contained in the Promoter’s Privacy Notice which we have on display or a copy can be accessed at http://www.aon.com.au/australia/legal/files/aon- privacy-notice.pdf. By entering the Promotion, Entrants agree to the Promoter and its related companies, using and disclosing the Entrant’s personal information for the purposes of conducting the Promotion, redeeming a Prize and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Promotion, and to market products and services in accordance with Aon’s Privacy Policy.
