For HIAIS, a small to medium sized business (SME) means a business which satisfies at least two of the following:

  • The business employs less than 25 direct employees
  • Total revenue in one financial year is less than $20 million
  • Total gross assets at the end of the financial year is less than $10 million

If you are not a HIA member, you can still apply for insurance products through HIA Insurance Services (HIAIS).
